I'm not really one to get publicly sentimental when a celebrity dies, and I definitely didn't plan on doing so in this blog. But the death of Corey Haim is a shock, one that has me grieving both for him and my childhood. I won't get into the sad details of his life in recent years or the way he died (I'll leave that to the vultures and tabloids). I'll just say that he was awesome in The Lost Boys. He was funny and cute and had some of the best lines. The only reason I was at all interested in the next Lost Boys sequel was because of the return of Sam (as a vampire, no less). I'll never be able to watch the The Lost Boys again without a jolt of sadness.RIP Corey Haim. RIP Sam.
